On March 27th, 2025, CNCRT hosted its 5th-ever CNCRT, The Deserving CNCRT, at Subterranean in Chicago, IL with music artist KingTrey. Alongside KingTrey were performers Matt Muse, Jayfro Raywas, Jaymz V, and Ferno along with our very special guest femdot. who closed the night out with Trey!

The night was centered around the release of Trey’s album DESERVING, and this would be the first time he would be performing it live for the fans. It was truly a special night.

THIS ROLLOUT WAS SPECIAL.

We attempted to do something different with this rollout. We wanted to take things up a notch more than usual & opted to get more eyes on the event while also taking more of a “cover story” approach to showcasing who KingTrey was.

At the top of March 2025, we were able to sit down with WGN News & their DayTime Chicago show to talk about CNCRT, KingTrey’s album, and the upcoming show! We were able to premiere the show’s trailer shot by Chris Vergara and kicked off the rollout from there. Trey also performed his latest single “Slave” after we finished our conversation. It was a huge leap for everyone involved & the outcome was everything we could have asked for.

After releasing the trailer & the interview with WGN, we spent the next few weeks highlighting KingTrey & talking about who he is, the troubles he’s faced as an artist, but ultimately why he is deserving of everything - good and bad. We rounded out the rollout for this show by dropping the full-length mini documentary - also shot by Chris Vergara - highlighting each of those topics.
